Hey, I'm Jenny

 

I'm Jenny, the photographer behind J Wood Photography.


I'm a Cumbrian through and through, and I'm lucky enough to spend my working days photographing people, places and moments across the Lake District and beyond.


I'm naturally drawn to candid photography — the moments that aren't planned, the reactions you don't expect and the little things that make a photograph feel like you.


When I'm not behind the camera, you'll probably find me somewhere in the Lakes, out with my camera, or helping out on the family farm.


I photographed my first-ever wedding at Briery Wood in Windermere, and I’ve been hooked on capturing real, unscripted Cumbrian love stories ever since

I would have to say my proudest achievement is my daughter, Isabelle.
