I am a photographer based in Cumbria, specialising in capturing the moments that people value most. My focus is on 'people' photography, and I have a passion for attending events to capture the candid, subtle moments that often go unnoticed.


I am passionate about all aspects of photography and enjoy taking on new challenges and exploring new areas. My portfolio showcases a range of work that reflects my dedication and attention to detail.

I’m Jenny, the face behind J Wood Photography. I’m a Cumbrian-based photographer who loves capturing real, natural moments as they unfold — no awkward posing, just honest storytelling. From weddings and family days to events and everything in between, I’m all about creating images that feel relaxed, genuine, and a true reflection of you. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me out exploring the Lakes or helping out on the family farm.
